Biography
Agnatasya was born and raised in Jakarta until mid 1990s.
She learned classical piano when she was in elementary school, then tried to broaden her ability in playing the piano, so she decided to learn pop and jazz as she moved to Bandung and started her junior high school year.
She was in Canada in the late 1990s and took Music Instrumental Band course majoring flute and joined Jazz Combo Band course. And during her stay in Essex, she was the piano, keyboard and synthesizer player in EDHS Jazz Band.
She involved in a musical play Cinderella as synthesizer player, and had opportunity to be the piano player in some small until big events in Canada and USA, such as; Mother and Daughter Banquet in Windsor, Rotary of CESSEX gathering in Michigan, etc.
Back in Indonesia in early 2000s, Agnatasya continued to learn flute but never been able to master it. Got frustrated learning flute, she then tried to learn how to play Violin until she also decided to quit.
Agnatasya was more interested in playing and arranging music than to deepen her skill of playing flute and violin.
When she was in high school, she joined some bands with different genres ranging from slow pop until hard rock alternative.
Agnatasya made her own duo with Syarif ‘Ais’ in Timun Syarif Band (piano and saxophone) and won the first prize of a local highschool band competition. And then she started to learn how to sing just as she started Architecture Study in University.
Agnatasya was the sound and music arranger of “Dandelion” a prestigious music theatrical performance from Faculty of Architecture Parahyangan University Bandung. Not long after that, she and Malik Ibrahim were collaborating in a song titled “Tell Me Yours” for original soundtrack of IndieFilm “Adrenalin”.
Agnatasya‘s career in music began to be more ‘serious’ as she travelled almost every Indonesia’s big island with La Luna Band since 2004, and she was enjoying herself as additional musician and backing vocal there.
Agnatasya‘s currently staying in Germany as a part-time student, full-time friend, and a life-time achiever.
